Appreciating little things along the way...its something to look back at!
It is often said that life is joyful for those who enjoy the beauty in little things. Now that I am a mother of three munchkins, i realize so true it is!
Life is indeed beautiful. You need to just look for little moments.
Yea.. that sounds funny! Just think, you have new ring on your finger. You flaunt it for a week- collect all the praises that you get for its beauty, design, quality etc etc... Then exhibit it around for a month to people who notice its new, then months pass by, years follow. Eventually forget that its even exist on your finger... why?? Cause you take it for granted. You know that its there on your finger, it is a nice one, fits you perfectly(so u know u won't lose it). Finally, after an amount of time, you realize that you have grown fat, the ring has lost its glow, it has faded, but it is still sitting there on ur finger hugging it. Alas, now however, you don't like the hug coz, its too tight rather than the warm feeling it used be. I came across this post and what a lovely insight was it to find this at this phase of my life: Here are some things yelling does teach our children: 1. It teaches them that I don't mean what I say until I yell. 2. It teaches them to yell when they want something accomplished. 3. Yelling teaches kids to ignore polite requests. 4. It teaches them that yelling is an appropriate way to relieve stress. 5. Sooner or later, the kids will ignore the yelling and when we really need their quick attention (emergency, danger, etc.) we won't be able to get it. 6. Yelling teaches kids that they don't deserve the respect of being talked to calmly. 7. It teaches our children to respond out of fear. pleas do read through the entire post here ! I'll surelly keep these pints in my mind wile dealing with my liltle one .

They use to regularly visit our yard and collect all the wipe mangoes and Jack fruits. They made preserves of both these fruit and gave us so-many cans and bottles of them, which are safely tucked away in my freezer. Every weekend, I am all set to turn these golden preserves into something Summery during these raining days. Mango Pannacotta Makes 6 Ramekins Unmouldable Ingredients: 2 3/4 teaspoons powdered Gelatin 1 table spoon cold water 1/4 cups whole milk.(or could use light cream ) 2 cups mango puree. 1 1/2 tablespoon sugar (addition of sugar for this dish solely depends on how sweet the mangoes are, since mine were very sweet and tangy mangoes, I didn't use much sugar). Ingredients for the vanilla panacotta layer on top: 1 1/4 teaspoons powdered Gelatin 1 1/2 cups whole m...
