I may have forgiven them but, all of a sudden at some point of time the memory return and makes me feel down. You know? what fate wants me to write this post today. A walk through the article enlightened me to the fact that where love exist there do not arise a need for forgiveness, all I have to do is learn to love the people about whom I have any bitter feelings about. Praying during Lent gives a sense of being part with the suffering of our Christ. I picture all those who are in need of my prayer, try to feel the pain that they are going through and pray for each of them... the after effect is so calming. My God show mercy to all who are in need. My aim during this jouney through the lent period: 1. Try not to get angry 2. Avoid Gossiping 3. Pray for all who I know  4. give away thing that are not being used by me, so that someone else may use it. 5. stay away from feeling jealous. let see how many of these i may be able to achieve.

We, here at the St Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church  were blessed abundantly by the good lord to have the presence of his Grace Metropolitan Pulikkottil Dr Geevarghese Mar Yulios amidst us for the Youth meeting on 12/08/2012. One of our brethren asked his grace to elaborate on the feast of Sunoyo, ie bodily assumption of Mother Mary to heaven.  Just a brief about the feast held on 15th August: The Fast before the Migration of Virgin Mary the Mother of God             This is one of the traditional fasts observed in all the Eastern Churches. A feast in commemoration of the Mother of God was celebrated in the East as early as fourth century. Later this was identified as the migration of the blessed Virgin and it came to be called the feast of Sunoyo (Migration) of the Mother of God. Sunday service included a lot of prayer for my baby yet to come, and for our sweety gonna be big sister... Praying for a healthy baby and a peaceful delivery! Amen.

 I am a Malankara/Indian Orthodox Christian girl (should I say lady) This orthodoxy comes under the Oriental Orthodox churches, with deep faith in my community. I believe that what ever I am today is due to my immense faith in my God, which has been planted and nurtured with lot of love  by my Parents and my church.
